Dr. Steven H. Dow developed a compassion for animals as a young boy working for his grandfather’s horse and hay business. This, along with an aptitude for science, led to a career in veterinary medicine. After receiving his B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Arizona, he served as a U.S. Army Airborne Ranger Captain in Vietnam. He earned his M.S. in Animal Physiology from the University of Arizona and his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M.) from Colorado State University in 1978. Dr. Dow has served as a Governor-appointed member of the AZ State Veterinary Medical Examining Board. He enjoys all kinds of sports and outdoor activities.

Dr. Bryan K. Nolte
was raised on a ranch surrounded by animals and set his sights on
veterinary medicine early. He graduated from Kansas State University
with a D.V.M. degree in 1990. Dr. Nolte is a member of the AZVMA. He
specializes in equine and bovine reproduction, as well as lameness and
performance. As an outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Nolte enjoys hiking, fishing,
golfing, hunting, basketball and baseball.

Dr. Kenneth C. Skinner’s life-long dedication to animals
naturally led to a veterinary career. He received his B.S. in Zoology
from Northern Arizona University and completed graduate work in
Agribusiness from ASU. He earned his D.V.M. from Washington State
University in 2001. Dr. Skinner’s professional interests lie in mixed
animal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, as well as the
human/animal bond. He enjoys spending time with his family, which includes 2 young daughters, 2 dogs, 4 exotic cats, 2 tortoises and a dedicated wife. During the down time and for a mental escape you will find him riding his road or mountain bikes or training for the next local race. Dr. Skinner has served on the board of directors and numerous committees for the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association since 2005. His current position is President-Elect of the AZVMA.

Dr. Mark E. Anderson grew up in a third-generation cattle feedlot operation in Loveland, Colorado. He received both his undergraduate and D.V.M. (1985) degrees from Colorado State University. Dr. Anderson has extensive experience in general equine medicine, general surgery, arthroscopic surgery, lameness, respiratory problems, performance issues and racetrack medicine. Dr. Anderson enjoys spending time with his wife and two grown children, traveling, fishing and reading.
Dr. D. Raenell Killian grew up in Chino Valley surrounded by
animals.
She graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in
Animal Science and earned her D.V.M. from Oregon State University in
2006. She enjoys mixed animal practice with a special interest in
surgical procedures. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding and
crocheting.
Dr. Amie M. Dow grew up in Glendale and graduated from the University of Arizona with a
degree in Animal Science. She earned her D.V.M. in 2007 from Iowa State University. Upon graduation, Dr. Amie Dow returned to her home state of Arizona and is enjoying the patients and clients of PAH. Her professional interests include ophthalmology, dentistry and internal medicine. She also enjoys playing the violin, sewing, running marathons, and taking care of her young sons.
Dr. Tammy J. Pauletto a Prescott High School graduate, and an honorary
Magna Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University (B.S. in Microbiology) and Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine (D.V.M. 2005), has received in her short career many accolades. Not only was she selected for a prestigious internship at The Animal Medical Center in New York City, she was named its Outstanding Intern! Dr. Pauletto has special interest in emergency medicine and critical care, oncology and pain management. She enjoys riding, running and hiking.

Dr. Carolyn Lee has joined the staff of Prescott Animal Hospital to offer all aspects of equine reproduction and care. Her professional focus is equine reproduction and helping clients start successful breeding programs. Dr. Lee has developed breeding programs for nationally and internationally successful stallions. Dr. Carolyn Lee grew up on a ranch near Durango and is a graduate of the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Cameron S. Dow (also a Prescott High School graduate) is a distinguished graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Biology and minors in chemistry/math/physics and Spanish. He received a D.V.M. from Iowa State University in 2009. Dr. Cameron Dow is a former Army Ranger and Captian who served tours in Kosovo, Iraq and Europe. His professional interests include ophthalmology, oncology, pharmacology, and mixed animal medicine.
